E-government

The Kenya Government has a lot to-do when it comes to nurturing the growth of E-business and access to information. The Tanzanian government (Kenya's neighbour) appears to be more pro-active in many areas. For example, their parliament has established a web site. In South Africa the internet is used to communicate key community initiatives. The United Kingdom has a Minister of E-commerce. It is therefore vital that Kenya should not be left behind. Some Kenyan Government departments have been proactive. Based more on the vision of individual than an E-strategy.
